Coming by public transport

► From Paris/ CDG/ Massy Palaiseau airport
Au retour, prendre le premier bus qui se présente à l’arrêt Palaiseau-Campus d’en face, jusqu’à Massy-Palaiseau. Les horaires sont disponibles ici.
Join the multimodal hub of Massy-Palaiseau:

  • by TGV (Massy Palaiseau SNCF station),
  • or by RER B (Massy-Palaiseau RER station). RER B serves Charles-de-Gaulle airport, central Paris, Orly airport (via OrlyVal to Antony station). Be careful, not all RER B trains serve Massy-Palaiseau (remember to check before getting on an RER train)
  • or by RER C (Massy-Palaiseau RER station). It takes 25 minutes to get from the centre of Paris to Massy Palaiseau (rer station).

Head towards the bus station on the Atlantis side, and take bus 91.06B or 91.06C, whose stop is in the penultimate position along the RER tracks (see map below). This line operates from 6am to 9pm, and has a high frequency between 7am and 10am (but less in the early afternoon), then from 4pm to 7pm on return. The schedules are available here.

Get off at the "Palaiseau - Campus" stop (13 minutes' journey), in the immediate vicinity of the Azur building where the conference is being held.
On the way back, take the first bus that arrives at the Palaiseau-Campus stop opposite, to Massy-Palaiseau. The schedules are available here

► From the " Vélizy II - Gare routière " station of the T6
Take the Express 91.08
To get to EDF Lab Paris Saclay, take the direction of Fresnel (and not the town hall of Les Ulis) (see map below) and get off at the "Palaiseau Campus" stop.".

► From Orly airport
You have 2 possibilities:
Join the RER B (Antony station) thanks to the Orlyval shuttles, then take the RER B towards Saint Rémy les Chevreuses or Massy Palaiseau and stop at the "Massy Palaiseau" stop. Then follow the instructions in the paragraph ► Coming from Paris/ CDG/ Massy Palaiseau airport.
Or
Take the direct bus 91.10 (low frequency) between Orly and Palaiseau-Campus (conference venue), which is number 91.10. See here for its schedules (blue/grey line).

► Public transport rates
Tickets can be purchased at any RATP point of sale (in metro or RER stations, at the entrance to Orlyval).
If you do not have a "Navigo Pass", you have three options (knowing that EDF LAB is in zone 4).

  • Buy a Paris-Visite subscription (zones 1 to 5) that will allow you to use public transport in Ile-de-France at will, including Orlyval (shuttle from Orly airport to Antony on RER B). This subscription is valid for 1, 2, 3 or 5 calendar days, depending on the formula chosen. For 5 days, it will cost you 65,80€.
  • Buy a Mobilis ticket (€12.40 for zones 1 to 4) that allows unlimited journeys (excluding Orlyval) during one day.
  • Use single tickets. Attention, the RER is subject to special pricing, you will have to use a ticket to Massy-Palaiseau (€3.65 each from Paris) then a T+ ticket (€1.90 each) for the bus.
  • Namely: buying a booklet of 10 tickets allows you to reduce the unit price by 20 to 25%. Holders of a large family card benefit from half-fare tickets.
